Amsterdam, Netherlands – African journalist Mohamed Abdulaahi Cantuuge participated in the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC 2025), one of the world’s leading media, broadcasting, and technology conferences, held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 12–15 September 2025.
The event brought together thousands of media professionals, broadcasters, journalists, technology companies, content creators, and industry leaders from around the world to discuss the future of journalism and digital broadcasting.
During the four-day conference, Mohamed Abdulaahi Cantuuge attended a number of keynote presentations, panel discussions, and technology exhibitions focusing on the rapid transformation of the global media industry.
Among the major topics discussed at IBC 2025 were the growing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in news production, editing, and broadcasting. Industry experts demonstrated how AI is helping journalists work more efficiently while maintaining editorial standards and improving newsroom operations.
