H.E. Zamzam Muhumed Omar (Gobsan), Member of the Federal Parliament of Somalia and the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), held a high-level meeting in Mogadishu with H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hamze Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of Somalia, and H.E. Mahdi Mohammed Gulaid “Khadar”, former Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia.
The meeting focused on discussing key national priorities, parliamentary initiatives, and strategies to strengthen governance, democratic processes, and socio-economic development across Somalia.
During the discussions, H.E. Zamzam Muhumed Omar emphasized the importance of collaboration between the legislative and executive branches of government to ensure effective implementation of policies and programs that benefit the Somali people. She also highlighted the critical role of women leaders in promoting inclusive governance and national development.
“It was an honor to meet with President Hassan Sheikh, Prime Minister Hamze Abdi Barre, and former Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Gulaid ‘Khadar’. Our discussions focused on national priorities and the importance of working together to strengthen governance and development in Somalia,” said H.E. Zamzam Muhumed Omar.
