Member of Parliament Zamzam Muhumed Omar, widely known as Gobsan Muhumed Omar, paid an official visit to the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in the United States.
The visit was part of her ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and engagement between Somali government institutions and the country’s diplomatic missions abroad.
During her visit, MP Gobsan was warmly welcomed by the Somali Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Dahir Hassan Arab, who provided her with an extensive briefing on the embassy’s diplomatic activities aimed at enhancing the relationship between Somalia and the United States.
“It was a great honor to witness the national duties being carried out at our embassy and to see the commitment to strengthening Somalia’s representation and image on the international stage,” said MP Zamzam Muhumed Omar, expressing her gratitude to Ambassador Dahir Hassan Arab and the embassy staff for their warm hospitality.
This official visit highlights the importance of maintaining close ties between Somalia’s federal institutions and its foreign missions, which play a vital role in promoting the country’s diplomatic, economic, and international cooperation efforts.
