Hodan Omer Buh, a journalist and social affairs analyst based in the United Kingdom, officially launched a professional training program for Somali media professionals in Mogadishu.
The training is designed to strengthen the skills and capacity of journalists working across Somalia, with a focus on ethical journalism, fact-checking, accurate reporting, and professional media practices.
Speaking at the opening session, Hodan Omer Buh emphasized the importance of independent, responsible, and credible journalism in promoting informed communities and supporting democratic values.
